Dear visitors or our website and dear participants in the campaign for saving Dari's life,

Today, January 12th 2007, it is exactly a month ago that we launched our website www.save-darina.org . We'd like to use this opportunity to address all of you who have offered time, effort and money in order to  help a little girl they don't know, and tell you our big THANK YOU! 

The story of this site started on December, 4th, 2006 with the  appeal from a forum colleague and friend of ours from Varna. Lubomira told us about Darina's family and asked for our ideas about how she can help them. An improvised  auction of 20 t-shirts and 20 bottles of wine followed quickly. While the bidding took place, a lot of people asked how they can donate without being mentioned and wanted to know if there's a bank account where they can transfer their contribution. Then came Plamen's spontaneous brilliant idea to make a website in order to inform more people about Dari and give them a chance to help according to their means. On December 12th, the site "Let's save Darina" became a fact. And we opened our address books and E-Mails and started spreading the information and searching for useful contacts. We tried to update the site as we go along, to realize the ideas that appeared on it. And that's how something started happening, that we now astounded look upon as the broadest internet-campaign in Bulgaria.

It's you who realized it, and we thank you! Thank you  for your big hearts, for your  sympathy, for your warmth and readiness to stretch out your hand to a stranger in distress! Thank you for believing us, for going the way with us and for leading us to new hope!

Thank you for the enormous charge of positive energy that you radiate! But besides heartfelt thanks, we want to inform you that we will continue leading this campaign to its successful end, because we do not only want  little Darina to recover, we also feel obliged to justify your confidence in us. 

When people from all over the world stretch out their hands, thinking of a child's smile - that's love.
